Armory crate uninstall tool failed11/11/2022 ![]()
But if you refer to the things i've proven to be faulty and now saying this is actually proof of the problem of ROG which is communication. The dispute i have with ROG and their bs team is strictly business. ![]() " No need to get personal man, i mean, you don't even know me nor my problems. "Software problems and your own are two totally separate issues here. Why are you even here tho as you cannot even do anything. So i contacted on discord and also i was not able to talk about it as i got banned within a few minutes by you Silent Scone, and now you are taking no responsibility which is typical ROG, always blame the others. The thing that also is very tilting is that ROG forum told me i had ban for 24 hours but even after 24 hours i wasn't able to do anything while on the forum i got message i should DM Silent scone which is impossible. These problems simply do not exist on any other motherboard vendor out there as i never seen so much issues as with ROG motherboards. ![]() My intention is to draw attention to this matter as this needs to stop ASAP! #ARMORY CRATE UNINSTALL TOOL FAILED SOFTWARE#A friend of mine couldn't even use his Laptop due to this software man, he bough it for $2k+! I know what you are saying, im no idiot, but the normal way doesn't work for ROG as these problems date for over 2 years now and still people report same if not more issues. #ARMORY CRATE UNINSTALL TOOL FAILED WINDOWS#I only succeeded in having no issues is to reinstall Windows completely as the uninstaller also doesn't even work properly and why in the holy hell would you even need such a thing. than it would be fine, but it also installs other crap no one needs nor wants and its a pain to get rid of. #ARMORY CRATE UNINSTALL TOOL FAILED UPDATE#IF you have options for different pieces of software you want to use like only RGB or update etc. Its literally THE worst piece of software i EVER encountered and ROG doesn't take it seriously even which is even worse. What i want is that everyone know what an BS company ROG really is as its pissing me off more and more how ROG is treating their customers by this erratic EC sensor and even more erratic Software. Man, you aren't even allowed to talk about AC on the forum as you close threads down or simply try to silence them by asking them to take it in DM. "Despite being told several times to take it to DM " where? I got one warning from forum moderator and that's it. ![]() I did filled 2 forms as i said with no result. I did not refuse anything, what are you talking about?! Its not worth as its not true what you are saying. Heres the link if you are interested: OpenRGB #ARMORY CRATE UNINSTALL TOOL FAILED FREE#I use OpenRGB and its free software and it works better than any revision of Asus software ever did. Just fix the damn software so people can use their system as its intent do be. I mean, ROG motherboards are top noch spec wise and BIOS looks cool and all, but there are just soo much settings in it and some don't even do anything or no one knows what its's for. The problem i have with Asus ROG is that they like i said, cramp too much stuff in one place or add stuff no one really needs or wants and asking top money for it. I like the features on ROG themed things, heck, i recently bought ROG scabbard 2 mouse pad an its the best one i ever owned. The more stuff you cramp on to each other the more erratic it becomes. ROG is trying to stuff so many features in motherboards, software or in everything basically that it makes it erratic. The problem with Asus ROG is that they charge big money for something subpar or on par with other manufacturers with lower prices. They have nothing to do with ROG only moderating the forum. Ye, its not the moderators fault tho and i said this to him also. but as soon as I open Aura Sync or Armory Crate, I need to reboot before the lights are controllable again. What's really funny is that as long as I don't actually open the GUI for AC or Aura Sync, I can cycle through the various settings using the hotkeys, turn the backlight on and off and so on. We did eventually get a proper fix, although frankly it took Asus far longer than it should have, and the first version of the fix didn't work on Windows 11 (which considering Asus were pushing the "upgrade" hard at the time was farcical) but all considered they at least sorted it out - and faster than many multinational corporations would have done (I'm thinking of several in particular, although it's been years since I used them so maybe they've improved.) We were polite to the Asus ROG guy, but still were quite grumpy about it and none of us got banned. A few users eventually pinned it down to problematic power transitions when the 6800M GPU went to sleep. ![]() Well, on that front my experience differs: I have the AMD Advantage Edition G513QY which had a really nasty problem which meant the laptop would randomly reboot. ![]()
